Kettlebell Training Class

Kettlebell training takes the concept of weight-bearing exercise to a powerful body- transforming new level with techniques proven for centuries by Russian strong men. Instead of working muscles in isolation as dumbbells often do, the kettlebell by design allows for exercises that recruit multiple muscle groups simultaneously.

The deliverable: powerful and highly efficient challenging workouts that meld cardio, strength and mobility and can burn up to 2X the number of calories you would in other workouts.  Group classes consist of work and rest intervals including a specifically designed variety of exercise combinations, all within a fun and encouraging environment.

Functional Class:

Kettlebell exercises mimic movements based on real-world situations biomechanics. Multi-joint and multi-planar movements used during kettlebell training with emphasis on correct form, will increase your strength while reducing potential for injury during every day movement and/or sport.

Our kettlebell classes incorporate the hardstyle teachings of Pavel Tsouline from Russia. Our instructors are certified Strong First and prior RKC. Using the standard Russian kettlebells, the exercises in this class involve multi planar and joint movements with heavy weight. Students will build strength and lose body fat rapidly with the cardiovascular movement of the swing and snatch.

**NOTE: In order to participate in Kettlebell Training Group Fitness classes, students must first take an introductory workshop package consisting of 4 private or semi-private training sessions. Kettlebell Training is a special “art form” that requires safety and precision to deter injury and ensure amazing results.
